Eyelash Yarn
Eyelash yarn is a novelty yarn which looks furry when either knitted or crocheted into an item. It consists of a strand of yarn with little "lashes" coming off of the main strand. These "lashes" can be short or long or varied.
Eyelash yarn works really well for trims, embellishments, bags or even to make knitted or crocheted animals. It generally works up rather bulky, so is not as flattering as some materials when made into garments.
This type of yarn comes in many different colors and variations including metallic and variegated and makes some very beautiful and unique items.
